Solution for emulsion wastewater

The domestic mechanical processing industry extensively uses emulsions, and their waste liquid has always been a serious environmental pollution problem that has not been effectively solved. In the past, domestic research on the treatment of emulsions mainly focused on oil-based emulsions, with a particular emphasis on addressing COD and oil discharge pollution issues. At present, pre-treatment+evaporator (multi effect/MVR system)+back-end biochemical treatment process is commonly used.

Pre treatment: The collected cutting fluid wastewater is filtered to remove larger impurities, metal cutting materials, suspended solids, etc. The filtered wastewater is then sent to the regulating tank. Add an appropriate amount of defoamer based on experience to reduce the COD content in the purchased cold water.
Evaporator: After pre-treatment, the original emulsion enters the back-end multi effect evaporator or MVR generator. The evaporator concentrates the emulsion, and the evaporated condensate is preheated and cooled before entering the back-end treatment process.
Backend biochemical treatment process: Due to the high COD content in the original emulsion and the small amount of 00D in the condensate, it needs to enter the downstream sewage biochemical treatment system. The cold source water after biochemical treatment can be directly discharged into the municipal pipeline network and returned to the upstream production process for continued use, achieving zero discharge requirements.
